Liz Burton Found the Egoscue Method Because She Needed It Herself.

Liz Burton Body Design — our story

Liz Burton spent years working in fitness and watching clients get stronger on the outside while still hurting on the inside — because no one was addressing why their bodies were out of alignment in the first place. When she discovered the Egoscue Method, a postural therapy system developed by Pete Egoscue and used by professional athletes and chronic pain patients alike, the results were undeniable. She trained directly in the Egoscue Method and opened Liz Burton Body Design in Noblesville to give Hamilton County residents access to the kind of structural, root-cause approach to movement that most gyms and clinics simply don't offer. Every client who walks through the door gets a program built for their specific body — not a class format, not a generic plan.

Liz is based in Noblesville, Indiana, and serves clients throughout Hamilton County — including Fishers, Carmel, Westfield, and Cicero — as the region's only dedicated Egoscue Method studio.

  • Certified Egoscue Method Practitioner

Reviews

★★★★★
"I had dealt with lower back pain for eleven years and had been through two rounds of physical therapy with no lasting relief. After my first Egoscue assessment with Liz, I finally understood why — my hips were rotated and my whole left side was compensating. Eight weeks in, I'm waking up without pain for the first time in over a decade."

"I'm a runner and I kept getting sidelined with knee and IT band issues no matter how much I stretched or foam rolled. Liz did a full postural analysis and identified that my left hip was the actual problem — not my knee at all. Six weeks of Egoscue work and I finished my first half marathon in two years without stopping once."

★★★★★
"I came to Liz after my doctor told me to 'just lose weight and move more' — which felt like a dead end with no real direction. The health coaching program gave me a structured plan that connected what I was eating, how I was moving, and why I had zero energy by 2 PM. I'm down 18 pounds over 10 weeks and I actually understand what I'm doing and why."

FAQ

The Egoscue Method is a postural therapy system developed by Pete Egoscue in the 1970s and refined over decades of clinical use. It works by identifying structural misalignments in the body — the root cause of most chronic musculoskeletal pain — and correcting them through a personalized series of gentle exercises called E-cises. It has been used by professional athletes, post-surgical patients, and everyday people with conditions ranging from chronic back pain to hip replacement recovery. Clinical outcomes are well-documented, and the results Liz's clients experience in Noblesville consistently reflect the published research: when you fix alignment, pain resolves.

An initial postural assessment at Liz Burton Body Design starts at $150 and runs approximately 90 minutes. Ongoing one-on-one personal training sessions are $75–$110 per session depending on frequency and package structure. The 8–12 week Health Coaching Program ranges from $400–$750. A standalone Home Program Design (assessment plus written E-cise menu) starts at $200. Packages and multi-session bundles are available and discussed during your first appointment.

Scheduling is handled directly through Liz, and availability varies by week. Many new clients can be seen within 3–7 days of reaching out. Contact Liz by phone or email to check the current opening — same-week appointments are often available.

Your first session is a full postural assessment, not a workout. Liz will photograph your posture from multiple angles, evaluate how you stand, walk, and move, and identify the specific structural imbalances contributing to your pain or dysfunction. She'll explain what she's seeing in plain language, walk you through your personalized E-cise menu, and demonstrate each movement so you can perform them correctly on your own. You'll leave with a written program and a clear understanding of why your body hurts and what you're going to do about it. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.

Most personal trainers build fitness programs without first assessing structural alignment — which means you're adding load to a body that's already compensating, which accelerates injury. Most physical therapists treat the site of pain, not the source. The Egoscue Method specifically addresses the postural root cause of pain and dysfunction before layering in strength and fitness. Liz Burton Body Design is also the only studio in Noblesville that exclusively uses the Egoscue Method as its foundation — this is not one tool in a toolbox, it's the entire system.

Yes. Liz serves clients throughout Hamilton County and the greater Indianapolis north suburbs, including Fishers, Carmel, Westfield, Cicero, Arcadia, and Sheridan. For clients outside the immediate area, Home Program Design sessions can be conducted in a format that minimizes travel, and remote check-in support is available for established clients.

Liz asks for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee equivalent to the session cost. Payment is accepted by cash, check, or major credit card. Package sessions are paid in advance at a discounted per-session rate and do not expire for 90 days from purchase.

Call or email Liz directly to schedule your first appointment. Provide your name, the best number to reach you, and a brief description of what you're dealing with — back pain, limited mobility, weight loss goals, etc. Liz will confirm your appointment time, answer any questions before you arrive, and send you a short intake form to complete before your first session. There is no online booking portal — all scheduling is handled personally to make sure you're matched with the right service from the start.
